Welcome to the forum, Luna. I can't think of a better topic to discuss than Voyager, and it's good having more fans to talk with.

Hi Luna! Welcome welcome! What part of Germany do you live in? I recently visited a friend in Berlin. It's a beautiful country!

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome. @redronni I live in the middle of Germany. It´s a small town near the Harz mountains called Goslar. About 300km away from Berlin Berlin is indeed a very cool town. I´d like to move to it one day. I love the atmosphere, the people and so many other things there *sigh*

Germany sounds awesome! (Hey, do you mind if we all visit you, Luna and stay at your place, hee hee....)
I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself yet, I've just gone nutty posting to everyone's fascintating topics......okay, here goes:
My name is Vanessa and I'm from North Carolina, the Tarheel State. I'm a chemical analyst for a water lab, and imagine everyday that I'm on Voyager wearing blue&black working in THEIR science lab (*sigh*). I've been a Trekkie since I was little, watching the original series in syndication with my Dad; he's the one that got me into Trek and science. My older sister, brother, and I have been to a few local Trek conventions, but nothing as big as Columbus, which I will be attending with my sister (who now lives in Dayton, Ohio...) I've had a cat named Data and one named Geordi, a lawnmower named Janeway, and hope to have a dog named Chakotay one day (hee hee, a DOG named Chakotay......some of you will appreciate that....). Anyways, I feel honored to be on a site with such devoted Voyager fans and am looking forward to making some great friends. (if you guys get together at the convention, I definitely want to meet everybody!!)

A dog named Chakotay, huh? Going to call him Chuckles too? He going to be a purebred or a mutt?

Definitely a mutt........a cute one, with a mark on the side of his face.

I figured as much. I just also assumed that a response was mandatory. I'm not afraid to admit that I loath Chakotay.

I think that's the first thing I found out when I joined. "JF despises Chakotay". You'd have thought he was Seska the way she hates him.
