I loved Kate in this, but the show (in my humble opinion) was horrid. I wish the show had been of a different "venue" and had more of Kate in it. She could have done wonders with it. As it is, it was wonderful to see her active and on screen. I just can't way that I would have been a loyal fan of it. I would have tivo'd for kate and that would have been it.

I'm very sad that Kate will not be getting a paycheck anymore, but I did find the show VERY violent. I think it would have done much better if it were on HBO, where the can shoot and swear with the best of the Sopranos!
I do think Kate did a exquisite job playing their mother and is just wonderous as a dramatic actress!
So bravo Kate! On a job VERY well done! I know we will see more of you to come.

I heard on the radio about the show being cancelled. That's so sad...I would have signed the petition, but it wouldn't load for me.
I hope she gets something else soon; she's such a wonderful performer

The show itself I didn't like very much. But that was maybe also because Kate was very hard and sometimes also cruel (for her sons). And I must say too (nothing bad for Kate herself - it was the caracter she was playing and possible all the things she was doing beside this show) that Kate looked old like Helen. Not at all how we know her. I know it's only acting, but stil.. Give me a more nice role for her.
The end was very hard for her..
