OMG, that's totally what I think we should do, and that was going to be my question to Kate at the convention. I wanted to start a Trek Convention where all the proceeds would go to a good cause, preferably Alzheimer's research since she's so involved in that, and the fact that my grandmother died from that horrible disease. We should do it!

I really would love to. I have a cause I'd like to support too - either the ASPCA or "Vest-A-Dog", which provides money for K-9 units to be outfitted with bullet proof vests to save their lives on duty. Alzheimer's research sounds good too though, my great grandmother died from it recently as well.
What does it take to start a con company?

Okay so, since that majority of conventions are over for Kate this year...we need to be on the look out for next year!!! Ready-set-search!!!! (However, she did not commit to Ohio till what febuary/march?, This may take a while.)  |

I still wanna see Kate in New York. I spoke to Alexis on myspace and she had an amazing time. She said the play was incredible, she was like 2 ft from her for much of the play. She got to talk to Kate afterwards, and watched Kate hail a cab and almost get runover. I'm trying to talk my friend Ashley into going with me. I'm so tempted to go.............

I KNOW!!! OMG, how amazing would that be if all 3 of them ended up on stage together!! And these Trek Expo people have been doing conventions forever, so they're probably much more organized than Vulkon was (no Kate rushing, hopefully!!!)
