JF, you have more to do than me: 6:30-7:40 -- wake up, get ready for work, surf Net, leave for work 8:00-11:50 -- work until lunch 12:20/12:35-4:30 -- work some more 4:30-12:00 -- surf net, watch TV (unless my roommates are home and hogging it all, then i just wander around the apartment )

Well, I had to come home from Vegas a day early because my grandfather passed away Friday night in his sleep. I am thankful that he was sleeping when he passed and I am thankful that he is in a better place and he isn't struggling anymore.
A weird thing that happen on Friday night, when I woke up on Saturday morning the chain for the pendent, that I bought to symbolize my grandma, was broken. Then my mom told me that my aunt called and said that he passed. That was really creepy. I think that he died of a broken heart. He did have congestive heart failure but everything that happened with my grandma in the first post.
I will post more later.

I'm sorry to hear that your grandfather passed away. I remember when my grandmother died, so I understand how you must feel.

Aw, Mel I'm so sorry. IM me/call me if you want to talk.
I think it's good that you are looking at the silver lining by knowing that he went peacefully and is in a better place now.

It's a comfort to know he went in his sleep... my great grandmother had a long drawn-out period where she just suffered before she died, it was really sad.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. It's good that he went peacefully. That's amazing about the necklace, it was like a message from him. It reminds me about my brother and our cousin that died a few years ago. My brother was very close to his cousin that lived in Puerto Rico. He had wanted my brother to come visit for months, but my brother got busy with "life" in general and kept postponing his visit. One morning my brother had a dream where my cousin was on a white horse and was explaining not to feel any guilt and that he loved him. My brother awoke to a ringing phone and got the news that his cousin had just passed. Because of that dream my brother has always felt that his cousin was watching out for him.

Yeah it was kinda creepy. I need to go pick up my chain tomorrow. I was hoping that I would have it for the funeral. I wore the neckless that they gave me when i was little. It all worked out.
I am hoping to start posting more soon. I still am not in people mode right now or a posting mode.
