Exams

i had an english exam today and the first two questions were dreadful but the last question was awesome it was to write about someone you admire. it was so easy for me to choose it had to be Kate of course all my frineds sed they found it hard to decide and only wrote a page while i wrote 3 pages and if time hadn't of ran out i would have wrote more.
it was so funny coz i got to rub my parents faces in the fact that my obsession came in handy for my skool work because they are forever sayin i should forget about Kate and voyager

That's horrible your parents would say that!! But it's awesome Kate made your exam easier. She would be so happy!!!!

i'm used to my parents sayin that they're just jealous i was so glad i could write about Kate i would have been stuck otherwise

can anyone give any advice on how to deal wit exams and the stress of them

The stress of studying? or the stress of actually taking the exams?

I tend to study in one hour increments....because after that, you really aren't remembering anything. Take breaks.

And for taking them, just take comfort in knowing that you have studied, that you know the material.....and if you start to get nervous...deep breaths. That should clear your mind and keep you from freezing up.

Good luck, I freeze up on exams also. Example, my first two tests in my physics class i got 80's on I go and takethe final and get a 65. That final dropped my grade a full letter. d**n tests it isnt like I dont know the information, it sucks that they give you a grade based on how well you do on test. A flawed system in my opinion

i think so too i always do better in coursework and that kind of stuff. coz i freeze up in the exams i can't get the information out of my head and the annoyin thing is i also no the information too
i did my biology test and i knew the answer after i came out but in there my mind went blank i don't think i did too well in that

i have decided when they're over i'm goin to buy numerous ink ribbons for the printer and loads of paper and print off as many Kate or jc pictures as possible and see how many places i could put them. i have a little voyager book that i made that keeps loads of pics in as well as quotes, does anyone else do this or is it just me?

I am so glad I'm done with exams for awhile now.

As for a "Voyager book", I can't say I do (though it would be fun to have, come to think of it), but I do keep a collection of all the drawings I've made of Voyager characters.

I only had one but that was enough seeing that i was physics. Next semester I will only have one also but that will be for Calc 2 so that will also be enough

Hmmm....I had a Kate "scrapbook" when I was like 14 I think. Basically I just found as many pictures of her as I could and put them in a book together. I wonder what ever happened to it. I think I probably threw it away. LOL. Looking back on it, it does seem a little strange that I ever did that. ha ha. Ofcourse, those were the days before we had a computer. So now I still have my stash. It's just neater.
