YAY DDL!
Jamie going on your journal is a wee bit scary. I have not heard of any one else liking star trek disney and clasic movies. And I have never never seen icons made our of Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant and the like.
Its wonderful. Thanks.
Now if only a Katherine Hepburn one would magically appear all would be good. A Christmas present maybe?

I love all the old films! The Philidelphia story is my fav coz its got all three of my favorites in them. I get some very strange looks coz I'm 24 and most of my movie collection was made over 40 years before I was born. Jimmy is next on my list to get, I have almost all of Katherine's and Cary's films (a lot of them are together so its easier lol)
Also DDL I haven't had a notice to say anyone has added me on myspace or facebook. which one did u add me on?

We have these:
Cary: Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer My Favorite Wife Destination Tokyo Mr. Blandings Builds His Dreamhouse Night and Day Philadelphia Story
Jimmy: Harvey You Can't Take it With You (my all-time favorite movie) Mr. Smith Goes To Washington No Highway in the Sky Flight of the Phoenix Philadelphia Story It's A Wonderful Life
Those are all the ones I can remember at the moment..
Uh oh, that's not good. I got a list of about eight Nicola Fordhams on Facebook but only one gave the location as London so that's the one I added. Did I add the wrong one?

Lol I've been a Classic Movie fan for a long time & of course, I've been a fan of Disney since I was little (I just bought "Pete's Dragon" today, I haven't seen it since I was a kid... I'm excited to watch it again!). I'd be happy to make you some Katharine Hepburn icons, are there any pictures in particular that you'd like me to use?

not really. most of the pics I seen of here are nice pics. I prefer b&w though. You're a star! my sn is Rowan (i use it a lot lol) I have Desk Set Holiday Bringing up Baby The Philidelphia Story (Absolute all time fave!) State of the Union (that have a very young Angela Lansbury in it too) Suddenly last Summer The Lion in Winter (very young Anthony Hopkins in that, it was his very first film) The African Queen Its a Wonderful Life You can't take it with you I've rented a lot as well coz I can't get a lot of them over here. I can't get a lot of Kate Mulgrew either as its not in my region code or something. They have enough of them in region 2 to rent but not to buy. I don't get it  I'm sure there are others but I've had to curb my spending on DVDs for the mo. If I buy them I watch them and I'm supposed to be doing other things lol. Come October I'm gonna be a mad thing, trying to read all the new books I'm gonna get and watch all the DVD's I'm gonna buy all at once. lol Oooooo I just found my copy of Tea at Five, I didn't get to see it at the theatre but I got the next best thing Maybe I'll listen to it before I go to sleep.

I haven't seen It's A Wonderful Life yet. I will this Christmas. I loved You Can't Take It With You. It's the sweetest movie.

Haha, I broke it, too......
Well actually, I like some old movies too, but mostly musicals. My favorites are West Side Story (totally have it memorized) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
