Well if Riker were as much a piece of plank as Chakotay were, he may have had as few girlfriends. Besides, how many girls did Harry get? Plenty.

I haven't seen too many of the movies (I really want to see First Contact and Nemesis), but I saw part of the whales one, Insurrection (which I thought was incredibly boring), and Generations, which I loved. I've been watching Generations as long as I can remember (as you can imagine, the VHS sleeve is fairly worn by now). Malcolm McDowell made a great villain, it was so sad to see him die. And the entire little lifeforms song is funny. Well, I can't see Chakotay going out with any of these alien species anyway. Riker had access to TONS of fairly humanoid females - Chakotay saw more Kazon and Vidiians. That and he's more of a private, quiet man (with no personality.. but I really don't like Riker either). I'm actually pretty surprised that the holographic doctor seemed to have more girlfriends than Tom did. I haven't seen them all but that's the impression I've gotten.

I'm at a cross Roads for my favorite movie because all the TNG movies have great things about them... I mean.... in Generations Data singing the Lifeforms song and saying "Oh Shit"...and then in First Contact because it involves the Borg, and Insurrection because Worf goes through puberty (again?)...and Nemesis we truly see how much Data has grown and it gives a concluding Chapter to TNG...I just...I love them all!

Haven't seen First Contact!? Stop whatever you are doing right now and go find it! (You can get it at Best Buy for $10)

I'd really like to. Everyone I've talked to highly recommends it. I'm going to try to get it in the next few months.

Wow, so you ARE calling me old....you better watch it you little punk....LOL. I was born in 81, and I can barely remember TNG so it was definitely NOT your generation. DS9 and VOY are your generation. You NEED to watch the original movies....they kick serious ass!!!

I grew up on TOS really, even though it's not my generation either. However, I started watching TNG pretty early on as well and for whatever reason I remember those better. I only started watching Voyager a few months ago but it quickly replaced TOS as my favorite Trek.

wow....I have an ex-boyfriend who used to call me a "gorgeous stack of pancakes." That used to drive me up the wall....and he used to find it hilarious that I'd be bothered by that. But never been compared to a steak before. Thanks....I think.
