I think I could have gotten more into it if the other actors had some talent.... Kate can hold her own but not the whole movie....... All the scenes cant be with her..... Well they can if they want to

ha ha... so I got to thinking yesterday about Kate's other movies, in particular, Camp Nowhere.
I remember watching the movie when I was young, when it first came out. I was maybe 10 or 11. So it was before Voyager days. And she wasn't anybody that I noticed since she's only in the movie for a few scenes....though I did immediately recognize Frakes (my house was a TNG house)...LOL.
But its funny to think that I watched stuff with kate in it before I knew she was kate....if that makes sense.

A few years ago, I rented "Throw Mama from the Train" where she plays Billy Crystal's evil ex wife who steals his book as her own, becomes famous and badmouths him. At one scene, he imagines strangling her. It is the exact same sound she made in "Coda".
Last summer I rented "Lovespell" which a movie of the Triston and Isolde story. She was in it with Richard Burton. She was only 22 when she made it, and I swear she actually frolicked in a field at one point. ;D lol

I used to watch the Danielle Steele films with my mum when I was small... I never realised I had watched Kate until I was looking on IMDb last year! Of course then I had to go back and watch it again. She seems to make the same noises in the love scene in Daddy as she does in Caretaker. ;D

She seems to make the same noises in the love scene in Daddy as she does in Caretaker. ;D Wow....thats kinda disturbing.....now I know how Jf feels when I talk about her making-out....I guess I draw the line at the noises she makes during sex. Man now every time I watch that scene in Caretakier.....BLAH!!! I guess I somewhat had that coming.....

That is the main point of us watching them. I doubt any of us would go out and buy them to watch them if she wasnt in it

I saw the Remo Williams movie a long time ago. It was kinda cute. Reminded me of something like Romancing the Stone. She played a stong woman in that role, too. She was always meant to be Janeway!

What is your favourite Kate movie? One top of my list are Round Numbers, Lovespell and Riddlers moon. Especially in Round numbers and Riddlers moon she's so a normal woman, I like that. And Lovespell, just a wonderful romantic movie with a very sad end.. Just as Manions. I like the part, where Pierce pulls Kate from her horse, the best . And the scene where he ask her to marry him. How he does that... LOL ;D

She was in Remo Williams? I saw that like two years ago. If only I'd been looking for her.
