Okay, so I'm not going to buy the book....for obvious reasons (*cough* killing Janeway *cough*) but I thought y'all should know that the prologue is up here.... www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Voyager-Full-Circle/dp/1416594965/ref=cm_lmf_tit_6_rsrsrs1Yeah... *sigh* .... if you haven't read Distant Shores, and the short story called Isabo's Shirt.... totally J/C then it might not mask much sense to you... if you have however, you will love/hate it. I LOATHE it but that's just me. I wasn't sure if the book even deserved it's own thread... but I thought at least JF and I could hate it together here... Ha ha. Let me know what y'all think.  |

OMG! It only let me look at ten pages! I assume what Mark was going to tell Chakotay that either Janeway was missing or dead... Know of anywhere else I can read the prologue?

Yeah... he was going to tell her she is dead. Urg! WHy Mark?! You'd think it would be Tom... but nooooooooo! WHatever.
That's the only place I know of to read it. If I hear of any others I'll post it.

Ok, I refuse to read it. Seriously. But just going on that, why the f**k would Mark, a civilian, who's no longer involved with her, know she was dead before Chakotay, a member of starfleet, and her f**king first officer for seven f**king years!!!! OMG!!! This f**king with Voyager shit is really starting to f**king piss me off!!! I mean, who the hell do these people think they f**king are?  ?? My seven year old son could write a better f**king Voyager story.....SERIOUSLY Ok, I need to go breathe before I die... |

Ok, I read the prologue....and she's even stupider than I thought.
She says that Harry is the one who fires the tricobalt device on the array. That's interesting that Ensign Kim, a science officer, would fire weapons, especially when her perfectly fine Security officer, who's job it is to fire weapons, is at the other control station on the bridge.
And lest we forget, she tells TUVOK to ready the tricobalt devices. TUVOK tells her when the devices are ready. And she says fire. Now how completely devoid of brain cells do you have to be to watch that scene and think she's giving Harry the order to fire???
Clearly she didn't even watch the episode. Here's a suggestion to all who would like to mess with my favorite character, on my favorite show......TRY WATCHING AN EPISODE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.... that's funny because in an interview she gave she said she was the best fit to do the book justice because in order to write oa book for Voyager you have to at least read the books and seen the episodes at least twice..... clearly that happened.

HA HA HA HA!!!! I hate to be a nitpick....but the Caretaker scene is not only discussed in Caretaker, but also in The Voyager Conspiracy....where Seven talks repeatedly about how Janeway had TUVOK fire tricobalt devices. So, if she's followed her own advice, and watched every episode twice, than she saw, atleast a dozen times that it was TUVOK.... and before anyone tells me that I'm knitpicking and being obnoxious, answer me this.....If she can't get something right that she can clearly check, and ensure it's correct...then how in the world can we trust her to get anything else right? |
