I noticed there wasn't a thread for Ethan Phillips, so I decided to start one. Doubt this one might be popular *wink*.
I've never met the man, but when I was younger (about 11 years ago!) I was watching VOY with my mom and she made a comment that I was like Neelix. At first I was shocked and pretended to be offended, but when she explained it I realized she's right. I'm usually always happy and cheery and I loved to cook back then. He immediately started being one of my favorite characters, but I didn't want to bump Janeway down so since then they've been tied as my favorite character.

Awe, I love Neelix!!! I always have!!! I have never understood how anybody could find him annoying. He's like that friend we all have. The one who, when you're having a rough day, won't stop until he's made you smile. And, by the end, you feel better.

I love Neelix, too! It all started with one of those "Which Star Trek Voyager Character Are You?" quizzes and the results said Neelix! At first I was like "WHAT?!" Then I realized it's true. I've been a fan of his ever since. I'm so glad I was able to meet Mr. Phillips last October!

Did anyone see him in an episode of Cavemen? (Is that show even still running?) I heard he was in one, but I never got to see the show.

No, I didn't get to see it. I never even heard about that episode until I was at Trek Expo and one of the pictures on his table was him as a caveman! He explained what it was and I thought it was hilarious.

The television was on the other day, and I wasn't paying any attention, until a familiar voice caught my ear. It was Ethan Phillips on Pushing Daisies. Ha ha.
Even Richie was like, "Is that Neelix?" It was really funny.

I saw Ethan Phillips on a rerun of a Touched by an Angel epsiode that aired in...2002 or 2003 probably. He's a great actor and just like JF was saying, it's his distinctive voice that always makes me think, "Is that him?" ;D
I've always liked the Neelix-centered episodes. The show definitely wouldn't have been the same without him!
