This weekend i was meeting with my biker club, and we were talking about road names and i heard someone mention Klingon for someone. HAHA I started laughing

I told my husband his car needed a new warp core. I just go the "look" from him, hehehe. And, I notice that I have affected Janeway's hand gesture when she is walking away and gives the "whatever" wave.

Today at work one of my minions was putting away our truck order, and he came into the office and asked me if he could take a break...... I told him "sure thing Ensign," to which he stood there and gave me a look that clearly said I was weird....so I told him "dismissed." When he continued to look at me like I was a nerd I (and Janeway would be so proud of me)....told him "that was a Starfleet term for 'get out'." He of course told me I needed help and walked away shaking his head like I lost it....
Maybe I have lost it....but alas, where better of a place to be stranded.

Today when I was getting off the Light Rail, there was a bumpper sticker on a car that said, "Very funny Scotty, now beam down my clothes."

Ha ha...I don't know if it's just me and I've just been watching too much Voyager lately, but anytime I get into an elevator, in my head I say "Deck 2," or 3, or wherever I'm going. And one day I began to contemplate why it is that on Voyager as you move up the ship, the level numbers decrease, while floors here on Earth increase. Yeah, I really am that pathetic. ;D

No, the main area is on the top. The bridge is the command center, so Logically that should be #1. Every thing below that decrease in deck number to show this!

I just don't know why I was worrying about it. ha ha. Ok, so in my education class we have to write up our philosophy of education, and we were talking yesterday about using metaphors to explain how learning is acheived. Immediately, relating the school and the learning process to Voyager popped into my head! I don't think I'd have the guts to actually use it, but it was really funny that I thought about it. |

HAHA I do that all the time. I was thinking the other day, If you watch caretaker you will see that janeway has coffee but it is not black.

I know!!! I wondered about that....maybe, Kate only likes black coffee and that was one of the things she changed about the character.....

There was someone at who put something on hold at the library. We hold items by the first three letters of the last name and the last four digits of the card number. This patrons was Odo, and guess what he had on hold. Star Trek. AHA I started laught and I had to explain it toeveryone.

I know!!! I wondered about that....maybe, Kate only likes black coffee and that was one of the things she changed about the character..... Hey....that could be one of the questions we ask during the Q and A.....at the convention! "I remember reading a con report and someone asked her about if she really likes her 'coffee, black' and she said no, she likes it with cream." Maybe that's why, after caretaker, they switched to the metal cups instead of the glass ones. But I have to say, "coffee, black" is alot more kickass than "coffee, cream."  |

There was book that I had a read for bok. Maxium Boy and the Invasion form the Planet of the Cows. OMG there was a lone from ST in it. Maxium Boy(a superhero) asked the invading cows what they wanted with Earth. They said: "Our continuing mission to seekout new life and new civilizations to bodly go where no cow has gone before." Max said "That sounds like a tv show we have here called Star Tek." "We know, we are big fans of that show on the planet of the cows."
