Five is the season where almost every character goes nuts in some shape or fashion. Janeway gets depressed and Nelix has a panic attack in Night, Chakotay becomes schizo in The Fight, the Doctor looses it in Latent Image, Tom becomes rebellious in Thirty Days, Harry is lovesick in The Disease, Seven experiences multiple personality disorder in Infinite Regress, and B'Elanna tries to hurt herself in Extreme Risk. I like to call it the season of the crazees.
