Has anyone on here tried doing some Voyager fan art? I'm a cartoonist by trade, so I've done a little. Would love to see other's work.

A picture from the day when Voyager encountered another stranded alien with connections to Earth. Unfortunately he's in the wrong time as well.

But he was friendly received on Voyager and here he's having a nice chat with Kes and someone outside the picture (probably Neelix) in the mess hall.

I do some photoshopping too. And I've tried doodling characters but....it's not always that great!

Looks good to me, Red. My Photoshop skills are less than impressive.. all of my artwork of Voyager characters has been done by hand.

Awww, thanks! I like it because it has everybody from Voyager.....this was perfect for me because I always have such a hard time deciding on things.

I posted this info on another thread, but since some of you are busy and may not get to it, (and it pertains to THIS thread), here goes:


I met Tim Russ when Voyager first came out. It was here in NC at a small convention. My brother is an artist and was selling his drawings of Tuvok. He was very nice. My brother gave him one of the drawings. I wonder if he hung it up at his house....



p.s. If I find my copy of my brother's drawing that he gave Tim, I will post it on this thread.

Welllll... all right, Red. It's just first, you have to understand that I can't draw people at all, but I can draw dogs. I was a bit wary of posting my artwork because in a way it's a weird concept, but to me, as a cartoonist, the highest honor I can afford someone I like is to put them into a form that I could possibly use in one of my cartoons (and my comic strip is about dogs). So, as I'm sure you've deduced by now... they're dogs.

This was my first attempt at them and at the time I hadn't seen as much Voyager. So please disregard the fact that I messed up on the rank pins (I only saw that when I was through and now whenever I look at them that's the first thing I see).



Excuse the poor quality of the picture here... was using my webcam. Doc isn't in his uniform because he's not on Voyager in this picture, he was actually being activated by my comic strip's main character. In this, he is called the "Emergency Coffee Hologram".



And one of Tom holding a pool cue. Again, I realize I messed up on his rank by giving him pips instead of bars but at the time I was thinking TNG rank and not Voyager rank.



Those were mostly just quick sketches which is why some detail is lacking. If you have any suggestions on improving them or just general feedback, I appreciate it.
