Don't start reading the RPG then, Van, they're working hard to drive a wedge between Chakotay and Janeway... and unless Mel does something drastic, it's going to work.  |

There's nothing that Mel can do.......and if she tries, I feel sorry for poor Inara, and what fate might await her!!!! Muahahahahahaha!!!! No one can stop Mikayla and Bilcana when they team up!!!! Yeah, he should have waited........but I guess it wasn' t meant to be, cause she was meant to be with someone else, someone that she spent seven years with on the ship, someone she had dinner with all the time, someone that she trusted more than anyone else on the ship. Hmmm, I wonder who that could be???   Yeah....all those times alone, and she never EVER made a move.....not ONCE......clearly, if she'd wanted him, she could have had him..... |

In Shattered, 1st season Janeway already started having the hots for him, after just spending a few hours with him jumping through the timelines. There was alot of SUBTEXT going on; here's how it went down: Janeway to Chakotay: "How close DO we get?" (translation: Ummmm, you're pretty cute and I feel some real chemistry between us, do we hook up in the future?) Chakotay: "Lets just say that there are some lines that are never crossed" (translation: You deny yourself a relationship that you REALLY want because you feel it's inappropriate for a Captain and a First Officer to date when stationed on the same ship, even though you totally LOOOOOVE me and would change the timeline for me...........) Janeway smiles affectionately and shakes hands with Chakotay...... (translation, Janeway: When we get home to Earth, I hope future me jumps your bones.......) (translation, Chakotay: I can't wait til' we get to Earth so you can jump my bones.) And THAT, my friends was the subtext.........hee hee. ;D ;D  |

Wrong.....he totally goes through his whole little "you're not alone. whatever we go through we'll go through together" bit....and then like five whole minutes later he forgets that and totally leaves her all alone!!!!!!

LOL............jerk forever......until tomorrow! Honestly some of my favorite scenes are during the LOVER'S QUARELLS........I'm quite looking forward to revisiting Scorpion. I think I'll follow up with Equinox II, the grandaddy of the "Mom and Dad" fighting scenes.   |

Chakotay is a jerk forever!!!! LOL Awww, so sad. I feel like I am the only one that thinks he is a good character. Relationship character, not so much. |

I agree with you, Mel. I'm basically neutral on the entire J/C or not thing, but I don't think he's a jerk. I like him better than most of the characters (he's my third or fourth favorite). Although I do find it amusing that he likes to talk to a rock, he's all right.
