Alliances and... Threshold. Hah. I'd warned mom of the episode and it had sort of become a running joke, but as I said to her as I selected the episode, "You knew you'd have to watch it someday." It was just as strange as I'd remembered. I think Brannon must have been on drugs. It started out so promising - Warp 10, breaking scientific precedents, making history... and then his hair starts falling out. C'mon, with such an interesting idea, turning into lizards was the best they could do with it? It was kind of funny, at the end, Janeway and Tom were talking about the experience and Tom was looking a bit embarrassed and then Janeway said she was putting him in for a commendation and mom suddenly said, "Why, was it that good?" and I just stared at her at started to laugh because I couldn't believe she'd actually said that.  Of course, she is down with a bad cold, so maybe that explains it. |

Did I tell you guys that the hand on the butt thing was Kate's idea? I asked her and Picardo at the Trek Expo in Tulsa, and he said it was hers, lol. I agree!!! Remember the mayonaise and tampons comment? LMAO!!! Yes! LOL!!! Anyhoo, back to the subject at hand... I haven't watched any VOY in a long time... :-O I know... I've been so busy and I've been trying to watch other things (like all the DVD's I got for Christmas). The last one I watched was "Inside Man" because I was in the mood to watch The A-Team (Dwight Schultz, aka "Lt. Reg Barclay," played Murdock on that show) and I'd forgotten the DVD's. I only have season 7 of VOY on my computer otherwise I would have chosen another episode. (Maybe "Projections" or "Pathfinder.") Oy... I miss my Voyager obsession..... Maybe I should apply for that better paying job so I don't have to have two.... Ah, I'll probably wait until school's out... |

We watch a ton every day now that we have the DVDs, so I won't go ahead and list them all, but the last one we watched so far today was Real Life. It was mom's first time seeing it. It was amusing when she pointed out you could see the boom mike reflecting off of one of the consoles, as I hadn't noticed it before.
And what's this about mayonnaise? ;D I can't play YouTube vids at the moment due to a computer problem.

There was a long and strange discussion about coffee at work last night so by the time I got home I was in the mood to watch "The Cloud." ("There's coffee in the nebula!")

Awww!!! I love Caretaker!
I was listening to my ipod in Sam's car....we have one of those cords where you can listen to it....anyway..... I got bored waiting for Sam, while he unlocked a car.... so I went into my videos and started watching Caretaker.... when he came back I had some serious surround sound going on!!! LOL He got into the car when everyone was firing on everyone...it was loud as hell! The look on his face was priceless!
