OMFG!!!!!
LMAO!!!!
*Whips the tears away*
This was great......
She moved closer to him. "So you think the barman thinks that you..." she ran a cheeky finger down the vee in his shirt, "... and I are...." she moved even closer, "...lovers..." The last word was a breathy whisper in his ear.
He moved away slightly. "I think it's a fair bet he thinks that." d**n her. She was getting her own back on him for not telling her what they were walking into.
She leaned forward. Spirits, he could practically see her navel down the front of that dress.
OMG!!!!
And I about fell out of my chair for this one......
"Oh my." Kathryn was blushing again. "Really? I'm surprised there isn't a line outside the messhall."

OMFG!!!!! LMAO!!!! *Whips the tears away* This was great...... Like I said Shayenne is just about the best J/C writer around, you could pick out anything on her page and come up with a winner. She is also wonderful people and a friend. She not only hosts herself, but also Brianna Thomas (giving Shayenne a run at being the best J/C writer) and Char, Autopilot and Violet (who is Andrea on VAMB). I don't know if Vanynessa has shared with you the fact that Most of the writers you point out here are VAMB members. In fact Shayenne, Mizvoy, Delta Story, Elem, and my self are mods there. Interestingly a lot of the older inactive writers (Caffy comes to mind) are coming back and writing again. I've been thinking about what to recomend here because I have so many favorites (I actually have over 1700 pieces of J/C fic printed out), and I came up with this one. Maquis Leader “Voyagers” Action Adventure (there are a couple of NC chapters) maquisleader.com/voyager/This is one of the stories that Tayryn (aka Mistyfur) made a trailer for. www.geocities.com/misty_fur/newtrailer.htmlIf you like this story please drop Maquis Leader some feedback, there is a form at the end of the story (by the way it is novel length). We are trying to encourage her to write Voyager again. Lately she has been writing “Buffy”. I keep in touch with her through Live Journal. Elorie

OK, I'm posting a vid here. I watched the "movie trailer" that Van left a link to and saw one of the related videos had the title of a Hannah Montana song (of whom I'm a fan, and I hear her songs all the time at work at Build-A-Bear Workshop) so I decided to watch that one. It was pretty good (but I'll let you be the judge of that) so here's the link: youtube.com/watch?v=FBGwbtufm3cBTW, elorie, the more i think about it you're pretty much right about the whole romance story thing. My idea of a romance story is like... "tension without the suggestion," I guess you could call it. Like if there's that kind of tension between two people I like to say what they're feeling instead of what they're thinking. To describe the emotions and not the urge. Or if *ahem* does happen I suggest that it happened instead of outright saying it or *shutters* describing it. To give an example of the latter, here's a line from my ENT romance story. It deals with the pon farr but has nothing to do with T'Pol, or any other main character for that matter. (And I'm not going to say any names, either. ;o) ) "We'll both be dead within the day if we do nothing!" I still held him back, but as I looked into his eyes my grip lightly weakened. Still, I persisted.
"Enterprise could still find us before then."
"What are the chances of that?"
"No matter, there is a chance."
"Is both of our lives really worth the risk?! I've never known a Human to go through the pon farr . You could die within the hour!" I paused a moment in thought.
There was no alternative. I gripped his robe harder and pulled myself toward him. The passion behind the kiss had no real meaning. There was no love. All our energy went into satisfying ourselves, and that's exactly what we did. Order and rule no longer had precedence when I chose to let emotion and hormones take over. And that's the end of that scene.... Unless sometime in the future I decide to add to it.

YAY!!!! I'm so glad you liked Shayenne's story, KJ!! It's now one of my favs!! Wow, between Virtual Voyager that Tina recommended (and it's JC, Yay!!!), the Angry Warrior Link on VAMB, which has new stuff on it daily, and Elorie's recommendations (Marquis Leader sounds amazing, and that trailor was WOW, ) I'm going to be REeeeeeally busy the next few weeks, haha! Hey Elorie, if you read angsty JC stories, you should read Quantumsilver's Breaking/Broken on ffnet. It's really amazing and we have a discussion thread under fanfic, although there may be some spoilers. It's a WIP, so I don't know if you read those, but if you do, it's a great one to addict yourself to. I'd start with the prequel ( Breaking) and then read Broken. Here's the link; get some tissues............ www.fanfiction.net/u/1316459/quantumsilver

Before you came to VAMB there was a little difference of opinion about reading this story. Now I am very sure it's good, I've seen great feedback, here and on VAMB, but you see I don't read unfinished stories (unless of course I am betaing something.) It has nothing to do with the author at all, it's just I have limited time. I work full time, write fan fiction and actually now am making character sketches for an original suspense romance novel, and coupled with that my daughter and I care for my Mom. She is in a wheelchair; I literally dress her in the morning. I had to draw a line so for me to read a fic, it has to be finished, and I don't like to read character death. quantum and I have discussed this via PM on VAMB and she says she understands. I haven't got to read even half the new fic from Secret Santa, I am still polished the one I wrote. Then there is the smut story Ym ask for, and finally I have a story that's been on my hard drive for a couple of years, it's now 17000 words and maybe half finished. What can I say, my life is full. (and you have a juicy story on your hardrive? Is it J/C??? ) I have three LOL. It occurs to me though that I could recommend the story that IMHO is the best one I have written. You know that occasionally we have Fic exchanges on VAMB, well we had a Halloween exchange and I thought a scary Borg story might be in order. So here is the story I think is my best one. "One Who Speaks" www.jceternal.com/1whospeaks1.htmI hope you enjoy it. Elorie

This is a very cute J/C fanfic involving the Q's.......YAY!!! I love me some Q's. Oh, and they like to watch, hee hee. Don't worry, it's just PG-13 (darn), but it's cute. This is called "Q La La" and was written by Lady Leptopus: home.earthlink.net/~leptopus/id22.html

What C/7? No C/7 here! BTW, have you guys seen this picture from "Timeless"? Rumor is that they took this scene out of the show (not sure why...) Don't know where, but I've seen this picture before. It's so lovely (poor Kathryn, hahaha). BTW: there once was a vid on youtube where you could see how she got all covered up by that snow. It was kinda fun to see (especially to her face..) Where did you find this picture? About this list; there is one number, which I can say I maybe am going to do. I already liked the name "Kate", so it's maybe gonna be the second name of my maybe-future daughter. (and if she will look likes the person from whom she's gotten the name, I would be very happy :-))

Annick, the picture has been around for a long time. It's even included in the offical "Voyager Companion" book.
