Since we are discussing Voyager books here, I just have to mention my all time favorite Voyager book, "The Black Shore" By greg Cox.
This book is a masterpiece!
An incredibly exciting story where the Voyager crew visits a lovely world with friendly inhabitants. But everything is not as it looks like! Kes is having a weird experience on the lovely beach, a vision of pain and destruction and shortly after, Chakotay has a disturbing vision quest where he's confronted with a beast.
Slowly the crew members are starting to realize that the lovely planet have some hidden secrets and that the crew and the ship might be in great danger.
It's an exciting, creeping story which slowly builds up and with a somewhat surprising end. All the main characters have important roles in this books which also presents a bunch of villains who make The Borg looks like a bunch of well-behaved schoolkids.
An excellent Voyager book!
