I am sure that by now many of you all, if not all, are aware of the tragedy that happened in my state. This has hit very close to home. There are several people in my church that currently go to Virginia Tech and my stepfather's cousin and his wife both work at Virginia Tech. My aunt was also on her way to Virginia Tech yesterday for work. (She is an auditor conducting an audit for the state) Please remember not just the students but the entire state of Virginia in your prayers. It might only be a blip on y'all's radars, but it is a full scale catastrophe here. I just don't understand how people can be that evil......

In times like these, there is little we can say or do, but the power of prayer can be very soothing and effective.

Let's all hope more, that we learn from the past and pass these messages onto our children, that violence is never EVER the answer.
