Still looking for the picture. And yes, it is sad. Seems like something that happened to a lot of salmon-colored Goffin cockatoos. I know someone else with a pink Goffin (Peaches) that has plucking problems as well. Our sulfur-crested cockatoo (Kramer) and Moluccan cockatoo (Nattie) don't pluck themselves. And as for stealing pizza (though for whatever reason my browser refuses to load it - post the link?), Nat does that all the time.. and any other kind of food she can see. Such a misfortune to have placed her cage near the kitchen.  |

Boo goes nuts if you have a bag of chips. It is so funny. Alot of birds pluck themselves if they are depressed or alone. I have three birds so they always have someone to talk to when I am not home.

We did a lot of research on plucking when she started doing it but we also have three birds and share the attention (and some food..) with them. She grew some of them back but she still doesn't have any wing or tail feathers, so she keeps wondering why she can't fly. We're still working with her on it.

That is good that some are growing back. IT is stressful on them and they do it most of the time because they are stressed, it is a cycle most of the time cant be stopped.

My friend sent me these, some of thes eare frikkin funny, some scary and some weird. WARNING This first one might not be for everyone. An archeological team, digging in Washington DC , has uncovered 10,000 year old bones and fossil remains of what is believed to be the first Politician.  This one is just for KJ!!!!!! ;D  I have no idea how this happened  There is a tree in the road LMFAO ;D  How Cute is this?  I thought this was pretty cool  WOW  WHOOPS  |
