AWWW, thanks so much guys for the Kudos!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!! ;D ;D It’s been a long time coming, but here it is…………NESSA’S VULCON REPORT (ummm at least part of it- finally; sorry so slow.) Thursday July 12, Day 1 of my trip: Well, my trip didn’t start off so great. I got off of work late (stupid work!) and rushed to the airport. I made my first flight, which left around 2pm. I had plenty of time before my next flight, no worries, right? I went up to the ticket booth to check on the flight status and found some disturbing news. Even though I had a CONFIRMED seat on my connecting flight, they "lost my seat!! (10F I told the guy!!! My seat was 10F- and they gave it away………those bleepin b#@@%&*ds!! I gave the ticket agent my best "Janeway Death Glare", but nothing worked). And what was worse was that they had cancelled the noon flight from D.C. to Columbus, so there were like 20-some people in the same situation as I was. Oh, well; misery loves company, so I met some friends and headed up to a bar (not before trying to sneak in to the Red Carpet Lounge- we felt they owed it to us since United Airlines had royally screwed us over. They didn’t buy it; apparently this happened “all the time”, so they couldn’t let us in or else they’d have to let EVERYONE that got bumped in the lounge, too. Whatever………United Sucks, but my new friends were really nice.) We tried standby, but United bumped even more people off of the later flights. I gave up and asked them to transfer my flight into Dayton, which worked out great cause’ it was closer to my sister. I just kept kicking myself because I had Voyager seasons 5-7 with me, and no laptop to watch them on. What a travesty. When I finally got on the plane, I started writing my fan letter to Kate for her scrapbook, and the one pen I had stopped writing after I wrote, “Dear Kate”……..literally just died. I gave up and fell asleep, hoping to forget the day, my lost time with my sister, and the fear of losing my luggage (crap, where’s my luggage??) I got in around midnight, reported my luggage missing, & finally got to my sister's house, safe and sound. Here’s a picture of me and my airport friends. Coming soon: Day 2: meeting Tim Russ.

Wow, Van, that sucks. However, you can take comfort in the fact that all of us hear faced hardships as far as Ohio was concerned.
KJ and jax still get twitches when they think about Utah......LOL

HAHAHA There is also another thing
On the way there we stopped at a rest stop to let a storm pass in Kansas. Well KJ was recording it she sad something like Too bad it isnt night, this would be really cool. Les and I both said , No it wouldnt you dont want to be in Kansas at night with a thunder storm you cant see funnel clouds at night. So on our way home she got her wish. It ws night and it was storming in Kansas. KJ woke me up and told me that I had to watch for funnel clouds when the sky was bright from lightning. I couldnt help but say, told you so. ;D

Brave souls........what we wouldn't do to see KATE!!! Walk through a minefield? Knock people over? Brave a tornado? So brave we all are! (ummm, that was a little Yoda-ish. Is that a word, Yoda-ish?) Friday July 13, Day 2 of my trip- morning: Day 2 of my trip I woke up in my sister’s jammys (my luggage was lost so still no clothes). My sister surprised me by saying that she had worked out the babysitting so that she could join me at the dessert concert that night, so I was thrilled. But then there was the question of what to wear!! I couldn’t go in my sister’s jammys, and I had stayed up all night Wednesday (literally ALL night……..figuring out what to wear at the dessert party, when meeting Kate, when taking my picture with Kate, and when meeting Captain Sisko and Jake). All that planning went out the window. The airport still wasn’t sure where my luggage was, which not only had my clothes, but my poster and pictures for Kate/Avery to sign, so I was rather anxious. To get my mind off of that, I worked on my scrapbook for Kate. My sister does scrapbooking, so she was kind enough to lend me her huge luggage-like scrapbook center (thank God!!! My construction paper would have been so ghetto.) *About the scrapbook* My North Carolina nieces LOVE Kate, and were sad they couldn’t meet her, so they wanted to give her something. Before I left N.C., I took some pictures of my nieces who each wrote a fan letter or drew a picture of Captain Janeway to include in our fan scrapbook to Kate. Each niece had a page with her photograph on it, her favorite picture of Kate, and her letter/drawing for Kate. Then my sister’s daughter (my other niece) started watching Voyager with us when I got to Ohio, and she wanted to join in on the fun, so she drew a wonderful picture of Janeway. I included a photo of my sister and my niece Leanne, and then had Leanne’s drawing in the center. My sister and I wrote a letter to Kate and placed it near the front. My page had “Two ways Kate has inspired my life: Theatre and Science”, with pictures of myself working at the lab and of myself in a musical I was in this past May called Hair. It came out great, but I regretfully have no pictures of the book itself, but I do have an awesome picture of Kate looking at it with a big grin on her face: Here’s some of the pictures she was looking at: Us and our goofy “We love Captain Janeway” signs……… My nieces doing the “Janeway armcross” next to a photo of Kate doing the “Janeway armcross”……. She said, " That's so cute!", and then I about just died from pure joy!!! ;D I gotta go to sleep, so I'll post July 13 evening, tomorrow.

Wow, I'm the biggest slacker in the world. I'm sorry about not finishing this report; I'll focus on covering things the others haven't and post them this weekend. I'm much better at pictures than words, so I'll do a mini album with highlights, so as not to bore you with my wordiness. I would like to go ahead and post this picture (Hey JF & KJ, did you guys every get this? They were supposed to mail it to you; I didn't know if you guys received it. I took a picture of it when I saw it at the table, just in case.)
