Patience, I need some patience (if anyone has any extra, can I borrow some?). I am waiting on the post to arrive. Somewhere out there are four seasons of Voyager, two copies of Mosaic and the Dark Matter Series.
I hate this waiting thing!!!!! Why is it when it's something you don't want it gets here the next day..but yet, when you want it, it takes forever? I swear, it's a conspiracy and not of the good kind!

I know the feeling. Hopefully you don't have a screw up post office branch though, when I ordered my new Hohner harmonica a few months ago, I was waiting, and waiting, and finally the tracking number claimed it had arrived, so we went to the post office (we use a PO Box) to check and... it wasn't there!! Waited some more, then called the post office, and after some more waiting they finally announced that they had put it in a different box and forgotten to put the key to that box in ours.

What happened with UPS? Whenever we use UPS, it's fine. That's why I prefer it (and FedEx) to USPS, they don't lose our stuff like USPS does.

No. UPS is evil.
So a couple months ago...as in like April KJ copied me season 4 of Voyager, and had it shipped to me, via UPS.
To this day, I have never received those DVDs. The first time, they came back to her as insufficient postage. The only problem with that, was the guy at the freaking UPS counter was the one who weighed it and put the postage on it.
Since it was their mistake they reshipped it for free. The problem is, the DVDs still never made it to me. They were received and signed for somewhere down in Texas. That's a far cry from Virginia.
UPS's excuse? "Well, they've been received. There's nothing we can do about it now."

Wow, I'm glad something like that hasn't happened to us yet (although UPS is notorious for banging up and throwing our packages around no matter how fragile). That sucks. I'm sorry they did that to you.

It's their fault it got shipped to the wrong place, they should fix it!!!!!! btw, KJ, how do you copy the Voyager DVD's? I tried to copy one for my sister using windows movie maker, but we couldn't get it to work. She said something about a decoder........do you know what that is?

You can't import the DVD file directly into WMM from the DVD. You have to rip the dvd onto your computer, using a DVD Ripper. Then you can save it in WMM, if you want to.

Is the DVD ripper something extra you have to buy, or does it usually come with any computer that writes DVD's? Sorry I ask so many questions, you guys are waaay ahead of me when it comes to tech stuff. I tried to find a WMM class at the community college (they offer photoshop, webdesign, and excel/powerpoint/word, but no WMM- sucky! I want to learn to make videos!).

No, you have to download it. Google "DVD ripper" and you'll get results.
