I was in total heaven last night!!! I checked out a local knitting group thing last night and fell totally in love! Yes, I'm a knitter (have a huge stash of yarn that multiplies like tribbles!).
I was sitting there and we were talking about the lack of anything on tv and I mentioned I just watch DVD's. They asked me what I watch, and I replied "Star Trek Voyager". Turns out that of the twelve people there....ten of them are Voyager fans and have been watching it on Spike!!!
Needless to say, the talk switched from yarn, kids and what was happening at work to what is happening on Voyager and such. It totally rocked.
Plus, I'm somewhat of a slight celebrity...I have actually met Herself!!!! Who knew all this was right under my front door?

LOL...that's so cool jax!!! I wish I could find a group of nine other people to sit around and just talk about Voyager all day. Although, I'd rarely manage to get anything else done.

That's awesome!!! Knitting and Voyager- that's a great way to spend some free time. Knitting can be so relaxing (except for me cause I suck at it), but how cool is it to find that many people that love the same show!! It's like an unoffical Voyager fanclub!

Yeah..between Voyager, Knitting and my part time job (that is slowly working it's way to full time with no extra pay), I'm wondering how school is going to fit in? Muahahahaha....Oh well, I can watch Voyager and knit during class and I already watch Voyager at work as it is. I need to win the lottery so all I have to do is watch Voyager and go to conventions!!!! Ah, that would be the life, I swear!

That's great! I don't knit, but I think it would be awesome if people in say, my Civil Air Patrol squadron watched it. But no, people here haven't been enlightened yet. That's wonderful though, it adds a lot more to knitting. Voyager adds to everything.

Yes, Voyager adds to everything, even the cleaning of my house. It makes it less unpleasant, if you will.

How could people in the civil air patrol...NOT watch Voyager? It should be a requirement!!!

That's a huge bummer, Claire. :/ And I agree, Jax, it SHOULD be a requirement.
