Ok, so Kate uses lots of nice big words that I have to go look up. Ofcourse, once I know what they mean, I want to use them as well. So I decided we should have a place to list and discuss Ms. Mulgrew's extensive vocabulary.
ribaldry - a ribald (course or indecent; bawdy, coarse, crude) quality or element.
puerile - marked by or suggestive of immaturity and lack of poise.

These are just a few....from ONE interview! This is exhausting or as Kate would say 'completely DAUNTING," reading her interviews. She is so literary, it is horrid for us mere mortals whom must find the meanings in her vocabulary!
Erudition: knowledge acquired by study, research, etc.; learning; scholarship.
Exacting: rigid or severe in demands or requirements; requiring close application or attention
Alacrity: cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness
Vicissitudes: a change or variation occurring in the course of something, as of life or fortune; ups and downs
