We have a goth club here called the Church. Actually it was a church. There are 4 levels and each level is a different theme

Last night was a blast.... let's see here checklist of what now hurts on my body... Hips, thighs, feet, ... yep... all that dancing... then I had two people grab my behind.... and then the other part of my group got involved in a ear purring and biting orgy...which I stepped away from as tempted as I was.... I try to be loyal.... either way it was one hell of a night... tried to get pictures but my camera hates me...

'The Church' looks like a blast. Reminds me of my old haunt 'Oxygen'. There aren't any places like that where I live now I have been made over into a respectable teacher Could you imagine if I walked into school wearing all my goth get up? ;D Party hard for me too!

Well there are many reasons that could be put in place... not sure as to which is true but...
one reason could be that It's a place to go from the Organized religious world we still live in. Now I do not mean to offend anyone, Christian, Muslim, Mormon, etc all those... but in a Religious church you have to act a certain way... you have to dress a certain way...you have to live your life a certain way or you'll be d**ned by either your peers or "God"... at "The Church" you can do whatever you want... it's a place together and just be yourself... and "worship" every aspect of yourself.
another reason is like the first...but a complete way to rebel against Christianity everything it isn't... but hey were are many more reasons.. you can take whatever you wish... i like the first reason I gave... because it is a place you can express yourself even more than what the Law would allow on the street apart of Organized Religion or not...

First of all, I just want to let you know that I'm not offended or mad in any way about your post, so you don't take it that way by what I say here. Way too many people view Christianity as a "religion." A religion is based on rules, regulations, and procedure. Given, some people make it to be that way, but it's not. Christianity is about love (of which there are four different kinds). If you love God (as he loved us first!) and "your neighbor" (everyone on the face of the planet), why would you want to hurt them or be selfish? True "agape" love (a Greek word that pretty much means "unconditional love for all") wants to do things for other people to make them happy, even if it means giving up something yourself. (Of course, wisdom plays a part so you don't give all your stuff and $$ away and have to live on the streets!) All the "dos and don'ts" (ex. The Ten Commandments) are wrapped up in the one commandment of love. If one loves God, why would they want to curse him, or worship another god? If they love their "neighbor" why would they kill him, steal from him, sleep with his wife, etc? It really drives me up a wall when Christians keep bringing themselves under the Law by saying we gotta so such-n-such things to get right with God. Especially when they do it to non-Christians and don't put love with it. (Ex. A few years ago "Christians" gathered in protest at a soldier's funeral because they're against the war. Another example is "Christians" hating gay people. It's true, we believe it's wrong, but that doesn't mean we need to hate the people. That's not love, that's hate/pride [same thing].) All[/i] that's required to get right with God is to say (and mean it) that Jesus died and rose for us. Then you're in right-standing. God'll "clean us out" later. If a someone does one thing (any thing) wrong, God's not waiting up in the clouds with a lightning bolt waiting to strike. (That's a whole other thing that drives me up a wall, but that's a whole different subject. Well, sorta.) I could go on, but I don't want you to think I'm preaching at you!
