DS9 is the place that Voyager launched from! The show is growing on me!

I just can't get into it? I've tried twice now and it just doesn't "do it " for me. I feel somewhat sad because in general I'm a Star Trek lover. For some reason, nope. Sigh. I'll give myself another 10 years and then try it again! LOL

DS9 is really good, imo. It's more philosophically oriented than the other series though & carefully designed, which is apparent even in the titles, which are rather witty and amusing, "Looking for Par'Mach in all the Wrong Places", "Little Green Men" "What You Leave Behind..." "Sacrifice of Angels", etc. I really enjoy it. Of course, not as good as Voyager, but I think as a series, it went places that Voyager couldn't b/c they were, after all, stranded. But all in all, great show.

I personally have never been able to get into DS9. I felt that a Star Trek show should revolve a found a ship...around exploring. I want lots of action and less philosophy. But, to each their own, right?

totally Of course, I agree w/you, which is why Voyager's my favorite, not DS9 I guess I got into DS9 mainly because the DVDs were cheaper and I could afford them
