They had him on "Movies that shook the world" the other day. The movie they were talking about was "Space 2001" and he was all up about how it inspired him and such. Oh please.
If he had actually been inspired by that movie, Star Trek would not have crossed over to the "dark side" and so far away from Roddenberry's original ideals.
Gah...it sucks when a great product gets in the hands of someone with zero vision. blech!

dude. I know. He's crazy. A sex maniac, obsessive curser, and totally uninterested in character development. Unfortunately, sometimes, that doesn't matter in 'the Business' grr

I don't like Braga. He was one of those who decided to kick out Kes in the beginning of Voyager's season 4 and he was the main instigator when the insulting episode "Fury" was made.
Yes he makes me ill!

Braga makes me ill also. I can believe that they allowed someone to work that lone for them, when they could see tha theraiting were going down. That is the first sign to find someone new!

I know. Nemesis was...eh. Not as good as First Contact, but better than Insurrection, I thought. I would LOVE a Voyager movie!! But I don't know if they could talk the whole cast into doing it. It's been over six years since they've had to 'be' their characters. Kate Mulgrew looks AMAZING right now, but some of them have really changed, physically. I don't mean to sound superficial, but they would have some work to do before they'd all look like their characters again...
I really hope they do one, though. It would be amazing

Hmm, I actually liked Nemesis. It's one of the few I bought on DVD (the others being TMP, TWOK, TUC, and FC). I would buy the other ones, but I don't like them as much (I might buy them if they come out on Blu-Ray).
As far as the future of Star Trek, I hope they take the "logical" step in creating a Voyager film (but I guess if they did that, they might make DS9 and Enterprise films). We need something a bit more than a Janeway and Doctor Cameo.

I liked Nemis...I Liked all the Star Trek Movies from Generations to Nemesis....in my opinion it's not that he was going away from the original ideas...he was just advancing them and adapting them.......I mean laws and personalitys and technology and all that wonderful stuff that makes up a world will change sooner or later...so they put change into it....you have to look at stuff like that with an open mind.

A friend of mine said she heard rumors once of a Voyager movie but nothing came of it. That's pretty disappointing because it would be so much fun to see a two-hour Voyager flick. Sure, they'd have to do some major work on the actors to make them look a little more like themselves (but for what they couldn't fix, they might just have it take place a few years after Endgame, who knows).
I'm not really a Kes fan so I can't say getting rid of her bugged me, but I don't like Braga either. It's incredible how long he was able to work for them.

I knew there was something I was liking less and less about the Trek universe, but it wasn't until I started reading people's opinions on Braga about a year ago that I realized why. Enterprise had it's good points and qualities, but overall I think it was the worst. I say I like Trip and T'Pol, but when I look at the entire series I like no one. Even Braga brought some good stuff, but it's just not quite what I would have expected. Nemesis was okay, but I prefer Insurrection. FC was great, too, but I keep getting lost because the first time I only saw the second half and the next time I only saw the first half. I have it now, but I just don't know why it's so hard to piece together.... I do like the whole deal with Picard sorta holding a grudge against the Borg. And the fact that Picardo and Phillips were in it!
