IDK about you, but I love the mirror universe. This is the only book I've read containing the mirror universe and it's different from how we know it because of the DS9 MU episodes (book obviously written before the eps). The Terran Empire is still the ultimate power.
When I was doing my RPG's on MySpace long ago I was using that book to try to help the story of one of the characters (from the MU but no one knew it for a while) because I'd completely forgotten about the DS9 episodes.
I don't care if it violates canon, I love everything about this book!
