I really like the name Holly for girls. It reminds me of golds and reds and holiday cheer. ;D The name Elliot reminds me of the name Emmett. -shrug- Not sure why.

I've always preferred more traditional names... meaningful names that have long endured. Ones not too common but not too rare. You're right, it is very difficult to determine a name that your son will have to bear his entire life, one that hopefully he will like as well. I guess I'll suggest a few more, but I'm not so great at naming. Aaron - "exalted" Christopher - "bearing Christ" Alexander - "defending men" Bruce (doesn't mean anything) Duncan - "warrior" (well, I had to mention this one, it's my last name ) Ellis (derived from Elijah) Isaac - "he laughs" Theodore - "gift of God" (my father's name, actually.. everyone calls him Theo) We're all going to want pictures of the little fellow when he's born.

Awe I like those names, and of course you'll all get to see photos! I have two new names I really like. One I love more than the other for obvious reasons.....
Ryker (Obviously from Star Trek TNG...and my favorite first Officer William Riker.)
Quinnten (I just like Quin)
