I bought books 1 & 2 of the Star Trek: Destiny series by David Mack today. 
I was at Walmart and was like, "Whoa they have ST books here?". They're like a mix also of DS9 characters too, I think. I haven't started them yet, but I'll start reading and post what I think. Apparently a 3rd one will be coming out as well.
Book 1 is called 'Gods of Night' and Book 2 is called 'Mere Mortals'.
I hope they're good!
