So.... I am watching this and I was just thinking....
What were your favorite parts? What you didn't like? Favorite Quotes?

OKay... One of my FAVORITE parts is after Gordie puts in Data's emotion chip.... and they go into ten forward, Gynan gives Data a new drink
Gynan: Well it looks like he hates it.
Data: Yes! That is it! I hate this!
(Drinks more and Gags)
Data: Ohhhhhh yes! I hate this! It is revolting!
Gynan: More?
Data: Please.

That is one of my favorite parts,and also when he and Geordie are investigating how Data says "Open Seaseme" (sp?) Then there's the life form song. Which I just happen to have on my computer.  I also like when Scottie says "Brought a tear to me eye." after Kirk gives the word. |

That movie's so awesome. I love the part where Picard is telling Kirk who he is and all he can think about is that his old stuff's back! lol!

There are only two things that bother me in the movie.
1) The intro. Ya know the bottle out in space. I must fast forward as I do not have the patience to sit and just wait for that thing to hit the ship.
and...
2) Why does Picard have to fiddle around with pushing the buttons? Couldn't he just have blown the thing up? I mean,that always worked for Kirk.

Yeah, that part with Data and the drink is hilarious! Data rocks; he's my all-time favorite Trek character. This is kinda off-topic, but I made a video about him and posted it on YouTube ages ago. Wonderful vid Mara! Maybe you could enter it in a contest and have it get played at a convention.
One of my online pals did that with a Janeway hair vid.
Also,since everyone like the life form song if anyone would like I'd be happy to upload it to rapidshare so yall could have it too.
Now back to the movie...
I don't get why the glass broke when they crashed if it survived phaser fire,but then again I don't ever recall seeing anything there except a plain ceiling in the TV show.
Though I do cry every time Data finds Spot after they crash.

Queen Arachnia, I think that this shields were down when they were crashing for the glass breaking. I love when Data makes the jokes with the tricorder. I too Love the Life Forms Song. His line of "Oh Shit" makes me laugh also, because it is so not Data.

See, I always thought that line was very much Data. It's like his untapped part that was always there but never seen till the chip. I always knew he had it in him.

My favorite part is when Deanna is flying the ship and they crash, and the 'Oh shit' by Data. All the great Data moments are definitely reason alone to watch it And when Picard learns about his brother & brother's family dying, ah, I almost cried. So sad. And when Data pushes Crusher in the water! ;D Awesome! I have this movie on DVD; I need to watch it again. |
