Where I work, I'd say half of us are Trekkies (me being "highest ranked," haha). One of the "nons" jokes to me about how Star Wars is better, but he's not really any kind of Sci-Fi geek. However, my friend Matt dislikes Star Trek so much. He even jokingly shunned another co-worker when he said he saw the new movie. So, yesterday, my supervisor, Dan, says to me, "Matt hates Star Trek, so tomorrow, Christei, you're decorating his desk." I'd been tired all afternoon and ready to just scream and go home just so I could take a nap, but when Dan told me that I got excited and was suddenly full of energy, lol. I forgot my PEZ dispensers, and didn't know where we put my Burger King cups from Brazil (mother- and a sister-in-law went on a missions trip there when Josh and I were on our honeymoon) because we're supposed to be moving (long story why we haven't yet). And Matt's a part-time employee, so I had a couple hours in the morning until he got there.

When he came in from the warehouse (where his desk is), he had a huge smile on his face, pointed at me, and said, "not cool, Christei, not cool." Later, he said he liked what I did with "the Klingon ears" on the phone. I corrected him and said they're Vulcan ears. He just shook his head and said "you would, Christei."
So what do you think? Trekkies win? You better believe it, haha.
