Yes, It IS my obsession! I love it. Have to have it. Every morning. A big Iced Venti Americano (shots of espresso poured over ice) with cream. I do enjoy all the other frilly sweetened drinks as well, but alas... the calories suck it. And very early in the morning black coffee is my love. Cafe' Verona or Italian blend. Mostly anything on the darker side. Except Sumatra! OMG! That coffee is described as 'earthy'... whatever! It's a frikkin cup of dirt! Blah! Soooooo.... before I run off to get my coffee I thought I'd start this awesome topic... Got obsession???

lol I feel like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like pumpkin spice. So many people I know love it. It's not just one of those things that I don't like, but can understand others liking it. To me it tastes like a gritty, bad air freshener. lol. To each his own.
But my seasonal favorite is also the egg nog! It's been a while since I had it, though. My hot usual is a tall pike place with cream and Splenda. My cold usual is either the vanilla bean frapp or the caffe vanilla frapp. Which one I get depends on whether or not I'm in the mood for coffee in my drink.

I like me a nice pumpkin spice. I'm not a huge fan of coffee, but when I do go to Starbucks I usually get a tall or grande java chip frappuccino. Maybe with an extra shot of espresso. I love me some chocolate

Lately, I've pretty much been drinking my coffee black with Splenda. There's either no cream around or it's that icky French vanilla stuff... Not a fan of the French vanilla. On a good note, I'm definitely liking most coffee without cream! The only bad thing about *that* is that I have to try harder to keep my teeth white now...

I've recently realized that I require a barista that follows me everywhere I go. Must be fluent in Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts.

I miss Starbucks... so badly... Before we moved, we found out that there's no Starbucks out here. I did a search and found out that there were supposedly 4 Dunkin' Donuts in the nearest town to base, but that proved false. (Needless to say, I don't blindly trust everything Google tells me anymore.) Until now, every base we've known has a Starbucks and a GameStop. This one has neither. (Thankfully, GameStop is in the next town.) The community center serves Starbucks coffee, but it's definitely not the same -- especially without frappuccinos. Thank God for Pinterest. I found a simple frappuccino recipe the other day. It's amazing. It would be better if I had Starbucks Via instead of Nestle Taster's Choice, but it works for now. It takes enough of the day's stresses away to suffice .
