Hey guys, I thought it would be nice if everyone included their emails, addresses, phone numbers somewhere at the bottom of their letter. Just in case.................

If anything, I think Kate would be VERY curious to see where we're all from.

I apologize for double posting, but how are those letters coming? I've got all the scrapbooking stuff ready to go (some REALLY cool stuff, too). All I need is everyone's letters/photos. I'm looking forward to receiving everyone's stuff. Please let me know if you are snail-mailing me your items, so I'll know where to look for it (real mail box or computer mailbox, lol.)

(Good one JF). Allright, I'm going to make one final attempt.........and then I'll just have to admit defeat.

I received some bad news from Ashley, my good friend who is going to NY with me. We are very good friends. I've known her for a very long time and she has always been kind enough to listen to all of my Voyager rants, raves, and praise. Because she is such a good friend, she has joined me in the quest to submit our fanbook to Kate in person. Yesterday her Grandmother passed away. She had been sick for awhile, but that is something that no matter how much you prepare, it still catches you off gaurd. The whole reason Ashley is attending law school here in NC rather than the school that she REALLY wanted to attend in Phili, was because of her grandmother's health (she wanted to be close to her). She's having hard time, but insists on going to NY. Here's her email; it sends a great message:

i think it'll be good for me to get away and go to ny to distract me and provide an outlet for me to let loose and just enjoy being w/ u guys. i've tried to put up a good front and be strong for my grandfather and internalize everything for his sake, so it's taken a lot out of me. but, it's helped to put things in perspective and yeah, i need to work hard and do well in school, but i don't want to take this time for granted, i want to spend time w/ my friends and do things to make me happy while i still can b4 i get tied down w/ too many responsibilities b/c it goes by fast. so, i wanna go and have a great time and celebrate life to honor her memory and the full life that she had. i think that's what she would want.


So if you think you'd rather wait to tell Kate what's in your heart, don't...........time is short and tomorrow is never promised to us. Write it today. I'll accept submissions until noon Thursday.
