Awww, thanks guys!!! Reassurance is ALWAYS a good thing!! (I finally got the courage to do it this afternoon, and since my hair would be going to a good cause, I didn't mind it quite as much). What would Kate do, right?

What would Kate do, right? Ha ha. I totally get that. My hair dresser had actually wanted me to wait a few more months, so that she could clip the dead ends, and then I'd come back and cut it all off. And I told her it was "now or never..." because it took all the courage I had to get into the chair.

My hair has been that length for awhile now (military regulation and I didn't want to have to put my hair up every time I was in uniform) and it really is nice not having all that weight on your head. Although my hair is kind of wild, so I have to fight with it to keep it down. LOVE your hair, Van! Looks great!

ok so its more Star trek generally but i found an interview in radio times with the guy who played Captain Sulu in TOS and he was asked "has ST had it's day? and he said "star trek never dies" 2)In Criminal minds their is a cute Trekkie. (need i say anymore?) 3)At a museum in Bristol they had a section on the origins of words 'Trek' was there and the little cartoon under it was of Kirk and Spock on a planet These are very Random

JF may want to skip over this first paragraph:Awww, thanks DDL!! I like that picture too. Cindy made my day when she told me that I could be Janeway's daughter. I told her that I had brown eyes and darker skin, so it was more like I was Janeway and Chakotay's daughter, lol!! I told her to call me Chenoa, their daughter based on a fanfic that KJ and I love..........haha!!! Hey JF, she would totally make you one, lol!! Now that she's made one it's not as hard. I found the pattern online and the material at a local store (I had to dye the turtleneck though cause friggin' A I couldn't find a solid gray one anywhere!!) Now would you wear it at a convention? ( I could see it now, you'd introduce yourself as Sarah Janeway....haha!!)

Heh, has it caught on? Does everyone call you Chenoa now? ;D Aw, hey, if JF gets one you should hand them out to everyone. So handy for conventions.
