just so you know...there was a poll taken and about 93% of people said that GOF was the hardest to finish of all 6 that's been put out even though.... Order of the Phoenix is the longest of the series...including Deathly Hallows

Wow! Thats interesting..... However, I found Goblet easy to get through. I enjoyed every moment of it, where as Ootp I was slamming the book shut every five minutes going "I HATE Umbridge!!!!" LOL!! I've read them all about a hundred times over the last five years that it dosent matter....besides I have them all on cd anyway... if I get tried of readiing them....which is also doubtful.

I thought the GOF was the hardest to read out of all of them. I read so many books, I wasreally shocked that it took me almost a year to read that book. I do like the story I just couldn't get through it. I thought that the OOTP was shorter than GOF. I could be mistaken, I am sick.

lol I don't know why but GOF is shorter than OOTP though it doesn't seem so... and with OOTP insted of slamming the book shut I was constantly pacing the floors calling Umbridge a few choice words, but never once did i close that book........it was basically the same with HBP

The HBP I read quickly. Not as quick as other but it didnt take me a year to read. I think it was like a week.

Half Blood Prince I read in about 8 hours. Only because when I read 1-5 they were all out and even then it only took me a week to read them all.... Once I started I couldnt stop!!! When HBP was released I didnt want to be spoiled by the end so I got it at midnight and was finished by eight that morning.....and boy did I cry,

Quick question: I find that generally there are two types of Harry Potter readers: those who love GOF (and hate OOTF) and those who love OOTF (and hate GOF). I'm in the first category. I could not stand the OOTF because of, as y'all said, UMBRIDGE.
I already know what happens in HBP, but I haven't read it b/c of OOTF. Is HPB worth reading if i know the main plot points?

Then that means that I am in the third catagory......I LOVE ALL the books!
Despite Umbridge OoTP....or whatever people don't like in GoF. I loved that they all have gotten progressively darker and darker......and in GoF was where things stared to get understood more, and I like the whole "know" behind it all..... why this or that took place....over things like Quidditch....not to say that I don't enjoy those either.....
All the Potter fans I know have never not liked a book.... maybe the fact that Sirius or Dumbledore dies, but never not liked the whole book for that reason....
