Yeah....and she beams onto Voyager...gives Chakotay one look and he stands up out of her seat.
"Sorry Captain." he utters as he shifts to HIS seat.
She walks to the seat, stands on her bridge a moment taking it all in, looking at her old crew assembled again, then slowly sits in her seat....her hands gripping the edge of the arms.
"Mr. Tuvok, do you object to what we are about to do?" She looks at Tuvok smiling.
"No captain." he says emotionless.
She smiles, then looks at Tom. "Take us to warp Mr. Paris."
Paris smiles as he feels Voyager moving under his control again. There's a flash of light, and Voyager is gone.

Only until I finish writing it and then make Paramount an "offer they can't refuse".......

Good luck! Without wanting to rain on anyones parade, I can tell you that it's a lot easier to break into Fort Knox than to have something accepted or published by Paramount and Pocket Books. I know!

Wow! Thanks for everyone's insights on the books, they are very interesting. I've read some New Frontier Books, which are really good, but I haven't gotten to the Voyager ones. I'm gonna order them this weekend!!

I enjoyed the Homecoming books. I did get upset when the shit hit the fan (half the crew were arrested while the other half got snubbed), but that's only because I was heavily invested in the book. I remember buying and reading "Endgame," which was my first Voyager book ever, and seeing the Homecoming sample at the end. I waited for about TWO YEARS for it to come out and was so excited when they did.
My major gripe is that Janeway is no longer the captain of Voyager and that the "family" is kinda split up. Still, I loved how they all banded together against the Starfleet bureaucracy, even if it meant throwing out the rule book.
Also, Virtual Voyager is a very popular relaunch of the series. It is written by fans, but true to cannon. I've only read about 5 episodes, but they're pretty good. However, I'm a J/Cer so others might not share my opinion since there is some subtext and one bad episode focuses waaaay too much on that subtext and some angst.
