That is so sad. I am sorry. I found most of mine on amazon. You might want to try there. They are a bit more expensive but you dont have to worry about being out bid.

lol i hate it wen that happens what i tend to do is make a bid three or four days before it ends and then i half an hour before it finishes i think bout the maximum amount i would pay for it and then i enter that. 9 times out of 10 i won the lot and sometimes if i no i won't be there i get someone else to watch it for me eg. dad and i tell him the most to put down

I don't know how many auctions I've lost because someone decided to wait until the last ten seconds to bid. I prefer the Buy It Now option.

I'm watching one now and I swear if I get outbid in the last 10 seconds again I will go nuts. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll think of something nutty to do, preferrably towards the winner....

I stay far far far away from ebay. Because if I don't, I always end up spending more than I really wanted to.

You mean on that lot of 140+ books, Van? I thought it looked interesting but the moment I saw you were bidding on it I left it alone. ;D I had good luck with eBay today. I bought a nice-looking Voyager hat, never worn, was used for display purposes. The colors go really well with my favorite jacket, so I'm happy about it.

You know...I don't really have a big desire to own lots of Voyager memorabilia....call me strange. LOL. I had alot of stuff and sold it. When I met kate the first time, I just kind of gained the mindset that meeting her was far better than having all the stuff I never do anything with. Since then, I don't think I've purchased a single Voyager keepsake....and that was two years ago. LOL.
