Aww, that was all just an excuse to do brilliant stuff like lamp00n Wagner's Ring Cycle. ;D If destiny weren't involved, how would they have pulled off Xena rescuing Gabrielle from the Circle of Fire? Mmm, Rhinegold... (Sorry for the 1337-speak; the code turned the word into "lamthingy" when I spelled it correctly ... wtf?)

I never saw any episode about that, but I still find it disturbing. I mean, couldn't it have been Joxer or someone else to save Gabby from the Circle of Fire?

No, for two reasons. First, it took place in Season 6 after Joxer (old at the time because he was not frozen with X & G for twenty-five years) was killed, so he wasn't around to rescue her. Second, because Xena's the hero (that the world cried out for).

OK, but if Joxer was dead, then how come the "destiny couple" episodes I saw were with Joxer? Or was it just Ted Raimi coming back to do a show and it wasn't as Joxer? IDK, I'm getting confused......
