Kate was at the FedCon in Germany yesterday and I found a video of it!!! It will bring up a couple new windows and then you have to right click on the blue link that shows up in the longer window and "save target as" for the download to start. Ok, I'm sorry, but you guys should know that should anyone get the bright idea to ask Kate a political question during the Q&A I WILL KNOCK THEM OUT OF THE WAY before they ever get a chance to finish the sentence!! I am going to see Kate and to hear random fun things....not her opinion on the country...especially when I'm from the South and our views generally conflict!! So, if you should hear a "Hi Kate, I just wanted to ask you what your thoughts are on the current state of things in Ir-WHOMP!!! What the hell? Get this crazy girl off me!! What the hell is the matter with you?"
That will be me. Don't be alarmed!!! LOL

You're right. People should know better than to ask her political questions. If they know ANYTHING at ALL about her they will know how passionate she is about stuff like that. NEVER ask her a question like that and expect her to not speak her mind about it.
Are you going to be going to the Columbus Con Janeway Forever? Sorry, don't know you by name yet. If you are, then I will join you. We will need to get a mob together just for that reason. LOL!

OKay....watched the first like five minutes....then got all nervous andscared that I had to shut it off!!! I'm not watching noooo more new vids with her till after July!!! I WLL be poised and calm during the convention.... crap like this just scares me!!! I get all nervous and think OFG thats gonna be us and...arhhhh!!!! Can do it....not good on the nerves!  |

You know, I do too, but then I start to think about it. She is just a woman...a VERY TALENTED woman, but none-the-less, she is just like us. Granted that she is Captain Janeway  , but she is really down to earth (as I have seen in all the interviews and Con Q&A's). I know...easier said then done, think about it. Ok yeah, I say all this and I will start getting all jumpy a couple days before the Con and when I get the photo op. Still something to think about though. |

Ohhhh...trust me I know! I just don't want my head to get ahead of me..... LOL! I remember when I was in high school drama and it came closer and closer to the night of the play.... if I thought about it I got all nervous and jumpy, but about a couple days before I just decided NOT to think about it....and come opening night....I was fine. Just like rehearsal only more people watching! I have decided the only way to approach my goddess  is the same way I approach anyone...humor....lots of humor! |

That's very true. I was in high school drama myself so I know the nerves that you are talking about. We need to meet up somewhere so we can TRY to calm eachother down LOL! I think we ALL need to meet up somewhere to do that

Meeting Kate creates speechlessness....It doesn't matter how many times you tell yourself she's just another person. She's someone you respect, and in some ways, her sheer approachability makes her that much more intimidating....TRUST ME!!! LOL.
