Ummmm. Wow, that was an awesome debate guys. All I know is this:
1. That they still haven't sent me my t-shirt and that no one has emailed me and I'm starting to get pissed.
2. I still had a good time and they were really nice in giving my sister a free dessert ticket when we got there late and they weren't selling any more.
3. That I think they were disorganized a bit, but not horribly disorganized, although I did feel bad for the meet and greet people (and I do believe she had a plane to catch and the autograph session took longer than expected).
4. I will definitely go to another Vulkon convention (if they reconcile the t-shirt thing).
5. Tulsa Trek Expo was WAAAAAY better, by a long shot (better Q&A format, better hotel, better sitting arrangement, better photo op pics, better dealer rooms, more guests, and a NICE-ASS hotel/ bar where I got to meet Levar Burton, hee hee!!)
That's my 2-cents......

LOL I think that I will be going to another Vulkon convention. I don't know how much I am going to like larger cons though. I don't really like being around large groups of people.

That's the great thing about Vulkons!! They are small. And I just like everybody so much that I can't imagine NOT going to another one. LOL.
John's already trying to talk me into going to Houston. But I told him that one wasn't happening. Not unless Kate AND Garrett were there. LOL.

Okay...after seeing this tonight I have decided to skip Vulkon this year and just do Creation Conventions. In April Mel and I will be seeing Roxanna/Belanna then in August at the HUGE convention in Vegas there will be..... Q~ John deLancie!!!!  ;D Worf ~ Michael Dorn!!!! ;D Neelix ~ Ethan Phillips!!!!! ;D And.... Harry ~ Garrett Wang!!!!!! ;D Whoot! And there not even done with the guest list yet!!! Most of my boys will be there!!!! Not to mention Kate has never missed a Vegas Con!!! So, yeah...... and cheaper! Well at least from my side of the country anyway!  I like the small gatherings but hey.... like it's the last convention! Riiiight! I can go to Vulkon next year! ;D |
