Daily Voyager Occurances

My professor said something about The String Theory, the other day...which brought up bad memories for me of Janeway in a coma.

Last night at work, people were talking about the Voyager phone, and I was like Oh oh, I want one!!! Ha ha.

LOL I loved the String Theory Books. It was sad that she was in the coma, but hey it allowed other characters to come through.

I think that you have mentioned before about wanting the Voyager phone. HAHA

Someone checked out season three today at the library and I was like ohoh Coda is on there!!

I haven't been to a library with VOY in a long time! There were a lot of Star Trek books at the small one I went to last time I lived in Colorado, but the last couple times I moved there were no Voyager. *sniff* And both of those libraries are bigger! Well, I'll check out the computer system and see if there are any in nearby libraries. I'll be sure to request some this summer!

I was punching some data into the computer today. Everyone has to put their initials at the end of the entry. I scrolled down and saw that one of the operator's initials was JC. Awwwwww..................

OMG my school had a Sci-Fi day. It was THE BEST. I actually found a jumpsuuit to hire for £25 in a tiny costume shop in Hammersmith
unfortunately they didnt have a red one so i went as a medical officer -
i thought a saw a gold one so next time.....

I was taking a delivery last night, and I got behind a car with the license plate "WARP SPD" It was awesome. I wanted to get out of my car and hug the person driving. LOL.

That's awesome! Reminds me of a license plate I saw back in 2006 on a yellow sports car: "12BEMUP" (one to beam up)

We were talking about angles in math the other day, and there was an angle <TOS. LOL. That made me laugh.

Then my geography professor was telling us about how he got the first season of TOS on DVD.

The other day in Sociology we were talking about cultural assimilation, and the prof said "What comes to your mind when I say 'assimilation'?" and someone behind me said really loudly "The Borg!" I thought that was pretty awesome

Today in Spanish we were talking about chicano poetry. And we were reading about a guy who wouldn't be "assimilated" into a different country. Made me think of the borg.

And Richie was reading a story last night about worker bees, ofcourse called drones. And he found that very amusing.

I love borg references. Sometimes I find myself laughing about those words and no one else gets it.

For some reason I was randomly thinking about Cathexis today. Don't remember why, but it was Trek. Well....it could be because last night I discovered that there is going to be a Spocon. *bounces excitedly in place*

I was talking to someone on AIM earlier and it turns out, she's seen almost everybody at a con. However: Voyager is her least favorite Trek. But anyway, she saw Garrett at a con. I don't know if you guys have heard this story, but if not, here it is:

[03:51] brettish140: I asked him what was the funniest thing that happened on Voyager
[03:52] brettish140: And during the episode of Tuvok going through pon farr. Tim Russ wanted to play a prank
[03:53] brettish140: It was 6 am in the morning
[03:53] brettish140: He whispers to the cameraman to follow him, just follow him with the camera, whatever he's going to do
[03:54] brettish140: The man's half asleep like "Yeah, yeah, yeah"
[03:54] brettish140: Garrett's on the side, hearing all of this.
[03:54] brettish140: Tuvok is quaratined in Sickbay
[03:54] brettish140: And then comes "Action!"
[03:55] brettish140: And Tim screams at the top of his lungs, "POOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!"
[03:56] brettish140: He escapes from the prison, throws Picardo away, runs like crazy across the set
[03:56] brettish140: And the cameraman running after him
[03:56] brettish140: Garrett does running after them
[03:57] brettish140: He tears through the corridors and runs into the mess hall set
[03:57] brettish140: Tosses Beltran to the wall
[03:58] brettish140: Runs and grabs Ethan Phillips in FULL makeup
[03:59] brettish140: Throws him face down on a table and starts humping him, having his wicked way with him
[03:59] brettish140: Phillips is like AHH! OOO! then suddenly turns to the camera and SMILLLLESSS!
[04:00] brettish140: Garrett said, "Somewhere in the Paramount vault, that reel is buried under a hundred others. One day, I'm going to break into there and steal it! Stick in on the internet and MAKE MILLIONS!"
[04:01] brettish140: "It's like Girls Gone Wild times ten! I'll BE RICH!"
[04:01] brettish140: And I'm on the floor, laughing till tears came out
