omg, DDL....... that's scary..... ew, ew, ew... *wink*
Anyway, mine isn't a VOY thing, but it is Trek and I thought it was pretty funny. I was in school and either class was starting or it was ending and the instructor (Mrs. Orrison) began to pray (I go to a Bible college). I heard her say, "Thank you, Father, for Soval...." I was caught off guard and then finally realized that she said "Thank you, Father, first of all..." I was crackin' up but quietly enough where no one heard me.

Ok, so this might not be the appropriate category, but I'll place it here since I can't really think of anywhere else to put it at the moment.
I was at work a few days ago, and I have put Janeway on my serving book....one big picture outside and two smaller ones inside. (I should take a picture so you guys can see it.)
Well, one of the girls that I don't usually work with saw my book sitting open on a table. And she asked me who the person in the picture was. I told her it was Kate Mulgrew, my favorite actress of all time. And she picked the book up, asked a couple of questions, and then looked back up at me. And she said "She could be your mom. That's who I thought it was at first. You guys look totally alike!!"
I told her she was my new favorite person at work!!!! LOL.

That's great, JF! I had to write a poem for high school and I ended up writing mine on Voyager. I bet the teacher will love that. ;D (The school I use for home schooling is anti-TV, basically, so they'll probably decide I'm evil. ) Still, I'm proud of my poem. =D My last year of school starts in about two weeks, but it's not homeschooling, it's public school. *sigh* I'll have less time to come online, sadly.

Some things had to be changed to make the meter work, so if parts of it sound weird that's why. "Now ready the photon torpedoes!" Captain Janeway cried. Had Tactical been any slower, they all could have died. But Paris at the helm had laid in a new course for earth, And Torres jump-started the warp core for all it was worth. The stars flying by the front view screen looked like glinting gems; Their flight was as smooth as if cruising down the river Thames. The brave crew's escape was a marvel of coolness in the fray. The conflict resolved in their favor, they journeyed on their way. The good doctor's own program shortly came again online, So he could ensure that the crewmen's conditions were all fine. Although each one's phaser had been set only just to stun, Yet once again, Voyager and crew gloriously won.

OK, so I'm not in school for a couple days because I have to be in training meetings for a new system we're implementing at work in January. Check out the organization and contact I created. I also created Mara Wildman and Vorik, but I figured you'd be less interested in that one than the one shown.

I was filling up the tank in my car, minding my own business, when I happened to notice one of the acceptable credit cards pictured on the pump. Sorry it's so blurry. I had to get in close to see it, but it was too close for the focus.

When Josh and I were driving to church yesterday morning, we were coming up to a turn right next to a truck with a camper on the back. As I was starting to be able to see the driver I had to do a double-take. I swear he looked like Neelix! As we got closer, though, I saw that it was just some large, middle-aged man with a messed-up mo-hawk, lol!
