Heck yeah!! Let's do some recruiting and spread our obsession. I'm from High Point (the Triad). What part of the state are you from? By the way, Kate once complimented our state at her 96' appearence @ Walt Disney World in Orlando (see below; from the transcipt...) Q 12: I was going to ask if Voyager had anything to do with Q again? Kate Mulgrew: Will he come back again? Where are you from? Q 12: .... North Carolina. Kate Mulgrew: North Carolina! Beautiful state, isn't it? Q 12: Yes. That must mean she's been here! Yay; Kate's been to NC and she loved it (so we can probably get her to come back. Maybe we can start a convention or something for the Southeast....and ask Kate to come!!) OMG, that is so wonderful! It is a beautiful state However, I was beginning to think that ST was nonexistent in NC and pretty sparse on the east coast. It's good to know there's hope yet, and maybe they will bring more Trek here! I'm from the Triangle Area. I go to school at UNC-CH but I'm at home in Cary for the summer. Yes, everything is Braga's fault. They had a star trek special on history channel last night and they showed him and I crossed my index fingers (same way you do to get rid of the devil). C/7 was ridiculous b/c that relationship never developed. It was basically the writers playing puppets with the characters: there was no emotion or build up to it. And while I am a J/Cer, I am a realistic one. I would never suggest that the captain and first officer start hooking up while they're stranded. However, that doesn't mean they're can't be feelings and it doesn't mean that J/C develop into something more once they return. He was supposed to wait. And if Braga hadn't interfered he would have waited. Both Homecoming and Virtual Voyager all ended C/7 as soon as possible, b/c it's absurd. whew!

I agree too. Whenever I see anything in Star Trek that was really stupid or bad enough to kill the ratings, I instantly blame it on him. Chances are it was his fault anyway, and even if it wasn't... somehow he must have been involved. That's the same problem I have, Red. I'm a lot more accepting of J/C than C/7 because of how much time was spent developing J/C. If Braga hadn't screwed with it, it would have worked out pretty well, which would have been a lot more satisfying than sticking Chuckes with Seven (along with Doc suddenly being uninterested in her, as if that would ever happen) and calling it a day. I can't imagine how they thought the fans would accept that.

Actually, if you want to blame anyone for the lack of J/C, you have to blame Kate for it. She never wanted it, and was insistant that it wouldn't happen.

Well, yeah, but I couldn't possibly have any animosity towards HER. How could anyone?

I agree you cant hold anything against Kate. Plus it is alot more fun to go along with the majority of ST fans and blame Braga!! That makes it more fun and fulfilling!!

Ofcourse, I don't blame Kate for the whole J/C. Infact, she is the BIGGEST part of my arguement. After all, how can you want something for Janeway that Kate didn't want? ? It's unnatural.

We are twins in thought, like JF & KJ, we are R & V; my mind to your mind........ And they actually used to have Star Trek conventions in NC (small ones, usually 1-2 stars, but it was great because you got more time to speak to the guests. My brother discussed costuming tips with John De Lancie. My 2-yr old niece was dressed as a borg; he was impressed. Those were the good ole' days....)
