And there's either no new posts or the new posts don't interest you.. post here and say whatever's on your mind! In the past few days several of our wonderful members have come online, seen nothing new (ikes, my Indiana Jones post seems to have killed the board!), and logged off. How have you all been doing?? I sprained my foot at Wright-Patt and did exactly the wrong things to treat it. Instead of wrapping it in ice and elevating it, I had to run and march on it (I told my Tac Officer and she said to deal with it ). So now I'm hoping that I won't have permanent damage... and I'm going to have to whip out one of mom's old crutches she got from when she had foot surgery and attend my freakin CAP meetings with it. I'll bet I'll get some real weird looks. Of course.. I can always smack someone upside the head with it if they give me trouble. I've been watching all the original TOS movies so I'll be ready to comment on those soon! I'd never seen them before. I finished The Search for Spock last, now I'm on to the Journey Home. When I'm done with them all, I'm going to reward myself by watching Generations, my favorite of the movies (although First Contact owns). I still wish we had a Voyager movie!! So how about you guys?

Wells....let see.... I left Portland to join my adorable, yet annoying boyfriend/fiance here in wonderful Idaho. It's FREAKING HOT here!!! I got two sun burns.... which resulted in ruining my wonderful porcelain white skin.... which is now all tan and covered in freckles. I have been jobless for over a month now....sucks big time... but have finally found a job working for Verizon selling cell phones. I start on Wednesday, thank god, as I have been spending WAY too much time with Sam....I love him but he is going to drive me CRAZY! Ahhhhhhh!!! LOL ;D I have been seriously considering moving back here..... I know...I just got all my stuff up to Portland and now this!!! Grrrr... still thinking anyway. Well....I think that is all on my end.... Oh, and Sam has been teaching me to unlock cars.... (he's a locksmith) so just in case any of us are together and lock ourselves out of the car... I can get us in! Now....I think that's all. DDL, sorry to hear about your leg. Best wishes and speedy recovery!

Great idea starting this thread, DDL! And I'm sure your Indy post didn't kill it. I'm sure Salina's just busy. I'll go and post some other things after this. (Hopefully.... Cuz I got here late and only have 15 more mintues before work starts.)
Well, my bro and I finally moved into our apartment. IDK if I mentioned anything, but my parents and sister moved to Tennessee and my bro and I stayed here so we had to get an apartment. We've always gotten along so it's all good. We both want internet but I don't want to pay more $ than I have to since I have to think about school, so he offered to pay it all if we find a good, low-cost wireless internet provider.
My "guy friend" is back from school in Texas. I know I mentioned him before in the "Immature Things We Do" thread, but I think then I was more leaning toward another guy. But it's a big, long story. If you want to read it, lemme know and I'll PM you the link to a single webpage I put it on. That way not everyone can read it.

Thanks for your best wishes, KJ. I'm feeling a bit better now that I'm on Ibuprofen. Let us know what you decide to do on the moving issue. I know what it's like to hop back and forth from place to place... I've already moved three or four times this year! But at least now I'm back in lovely Cleveland. So I'd say... go where you're the happiest. I spent almost ten years in Tennessee and every single day I wished I was in Ohio. It's good that your boyfriend is teaching you that skill. Who knows when it might come in handy. Thanks for posting some new things, Mara. What part of Tennessee did your parents and sister move to? Good luck finding a good internet provider. I know how tough that can be. Sure, I'd like to read it, if you don't mind sharing something so personal. :]

I like this thread already! *smile*
And Mara's right, I'm just busy. I've gone back to see Indy 4 a couple times with some other friends. Scott (the guy that saw it with me the first time) has come along every time. He seems to be regretting that he hadn't jumped on the Indy bandwagon sooner!
Plus, I've started to try to do more with my research that I was hoping would be finished by now. When I am done with it I'm thinking about getting a 2nd job so I can be saving even more money for school, once I find the one I want to go to!
Ooh, and Mara, I'd like to read it too! (If you don't mind.)

DDL- Great idea starting this thread! Sorry about your foot; I can't believe they didn't even let you take care of it...I would be so mad. Oooo TOS movies...my fave is number 4, the Voyage Home. I'm not a huge TOS fan, and I bought that one ;D KJ- I'm glad you found a job. Ugh, money sucks, doesn't it? I just found out I'm going to have to take out loans for my last year of school, yuck. That's cool Sam taught you to unlock cars, that's pretty handy. As far as the moving/not moving situation goes...I wish you luck in making that decision. Helpful, I know. It's hot here too! In the 90's daily Mara-that's cool that you and your brother are sharing an appt; I hope you find some cheap internet provider, I defintely would not survive without the internet in my home! Salina- Ok, I REALLY need to see the new Indiana Jones movie then, esp. if you and DDL are all over it. It must be pretty amazing. Good luck with your research! I'm definitely going to be around more now that my summer class is done, esp. commenting in the Virtual Voyager thread after I finally start season 9 tomorrow, and I'll check this thread whenever I come

I am around, but not up to posting much. During that past month or so, I've been in a pretty severe depression. I'm having a hard time with it too, because it really is my own fault this time. I had really hoped that going to Dallas was going to help out with that. But when the trip went to Hell, it only made things worse. So mostly, I sleep alot, watch alot of movies, and go to work.
The good thing is, I can tell I'm starting to come out of it. I even managed to finish a video. (Now if I can just find the time to upload it on youtube I'll really be doing good)
So that's what's up in my world.....

Well, I'm glad you're coming out of it! Things do take time to get over, whether small or big. Don't forget to post a link to your video here when you upload it!
Oh, and thanks for the link, Mara. Sounds like you're really happy with your decision. *smile*

Wow, hope you're doing lots better! Sounds like you're life's been crazier than the rest of us? Maybe some extra R&R would be good.
BTW, what's "EQUUS"?

I think Equus is a play about this guy and his overboard love for horses. I'm sure if you can find it on Wikipedia or Google.

I'm glad this thread is popular. I love seeing new posts when I log in! I hope things improve for you soon, JF! Whenever you're up to posting the video, I'd love to see it. Haha, you're welcome to smack people with my crutch when I'm through with it, yes. What a great double use for it. ;D Have fun on your trip to see that play! When you watch Indy 4, Lauren, be sure to post your thoughts about it. Sorry for my short reply, I have to hurry because some company is coming over. One last thing though, I saw this on the news: www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/08/AR2008070803185.html?g=1It's really upsetting to me.

JF- I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a rough time. Depression definitely will sap your energy and motivation like that. I'm glad things are starting to get better though. Getting back into usual activities is a good sign, and I'd love to see the video once you get it uploaded. And that's my psych major wisdom for you right there Katie2-Oooo Equus, I've heard about that...you'll have to tell me how you like it. DDL-that article is nuts! Come on people, I think maybe space has enough...space for everyone? Geez.

I hope everyone's doing great today! I know I am! Nothing special, just decided to have a good day! I should do this more often....
Now off to bed... I should be back in a few hours, unless I wake up at about noon like I have been. Then I'll go back to bed.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!
