Maybe the whole movie is going to be a "flashback." That sounds like a corny enough of an idea......

Tons of movies are released on Christmas!!!! Really? That's so weird to me. I guess people have nothing to do after church and opening gifts, so they go to the movies. I guess it makes sense.

12/25? Really? Oh well, I have spent that day at the movies before...when you have no place to go, it's a good alternative. I'm still undecided on the movie. I'm totally not into the whole "flashback" thing. I want to go forward and not backwards in the Star Trek world.

I, personally, will be boycotting the movie. Call me a bad Trek fan, I don't care. I'm sick and tired of being handed sub-par material and expected to be overjoyed just because it's d**n Trek. I, for one, am saying Not This TIME!!!!

I might have to agree with you on taking a stand. You do have one very valid point. Even as die hard a Trek fan as I am, I'm seriously not willing to watch junk just because it's got the Star Trek name on it. I'm just worried that because the movie flops..and it will flop...that will be the end of the movies? I'm still holding out for a Voyager movie!

Clearly it won't be. Nemesis was a flop...and they're working on another. It's not a matter of Paramount not making any more movies....its a matter of Paramount not listening to their d**n fans.

I totally agree, but I will go see the movie so I can hop on the ST message board and exclaim why it should have been a Voyager movie instead. It may be hard to argue my point on that board if I haven't seen the movie. I certainly don't expect to be impressed........at all.

I don't plan on watching it either. They should quit messing around and make something worth watching - a Voyager movie, naturally.
