 i have stupid friends who say voyagers crap and really wind me up and one of them just sed that kate can't act and voyager is crap i want to kill him seriously. does anyone else have this lack of respect and if so how to u deal wit it without killin someone i mean they're idiots in thinkin wot they think but still  i just need to vent I really understand how you feel because I'm in the same situation myself. Just go to the Voyager Forum on www.startrek.com and read all stupid comments about Kes and the actress Jennifer Lien and you'll see what I mean. |

Oh yes, you're THAT Lynx.......I 've read those comments on the ST forum. People sure can be mean. I've seen Jennifer's other work (I watched American History X recently).......I think she's a great actress. I'm glad someone is there on the ST forum to back her up.

wow u people are vicious  Klingon works well about trekker jokes its a little disapointing when they heve no idea what it means (on second thoughts maybe thats a good thing :S ) none of my friends are brave enough to touch Kate or any of the others  |

So I had lunch with my good friend Jen today. And ofcourse I took my pictures with me to show her, because, honestly I've been showing everyone that I can! So we were talking about the trip and about how I drove eight hours. And I was telling her about how KJ and jaxlynn came from Portland, and Mel from Denver. She just couldn't wrap her head around that!! She said "Wow, you guys are obsessed!" And my response back to her was "You say that like it's a bad thing!!!" LOL. Some people just don't get it I guess........... Ok, in all honesty MOST people don't get it. But who cares?  ? They will never get to know the joy of making Kate's day I suppose!!!!!!! |

I think everyone here understands the great obsession that compels people to drive such long distances. I know if I had access to a car I sure would have. Well you never know, didn't they say they made friends with one of the security guards? Maybe she could sneak back in afterwards and continue stalking because he let her. |

OMG! I am so freakin happy that I'm not the only one who gets ticked off when people talk down Voyager and/or Kate!!! I told people at work that I went to the con and got my picture taken with my FAVORITE actress, and they asked who is that? I said Kate Mulgrew and they ROLLED THEIR EYES AT IT!!! OMG! I just wanted to slug 'em, but I kinda need my job...that was the ONLY thing that kept me back. How can someone roll their eyes at Kate?!?!?!?!?!?!? I would really like to see them do what she has done for the past 30 odd years and LIVE to tell about it.
Ok...I had to vent, you all got me started LOL!

OMG!!! I can't tell you how many guys came up to us at the bar on Saturday night of the convention......and talked about how they weren't really that into Voyager, or they didn't feel comfortable with a woman in command, or they didn't understand why everybody liked Kate....blah blah blah.
At one point, I actually said to a guy "Why are you telling me this when it's clear I'm a huge Kate fan?" LOL
